How to extend credit validity on Happy DTAC (Thailand) SIM cards

Credit purchased for Happy DTAC (Thailand) SIM cards can expire in just a few days. By paying a small fee you can extend credit validity between 30 and 180 days. If you do this twice, you can extend credit by 360 days (180 x 2) up to a maximum of 365 days making it ideal for light users and occasional visitors to Thailand.

To extend credit validity, dial *1013 and then follow the automated prompts. A full script of the automated service is shown below:

DTAC: For English, please press 9.

DTAC: Special promotion from now until 30 September 2010.

DTAC: To use this service, your current balance is just more than 100 baht after SIM activation or your phone number must be activated for more than 90 days.

DTAC: To check your total usage by dialing *110*0*9#

DTAC: Please note that data of your total usage will be taken from two days previous to the date of your request.

DTAC: To request for this service, press 1.

Caller: [Press 1]

DTAC: To request for 30 days, 2 baht fee will be applied. Press 1.

DTAC: To request for 90 days, 6 baht fee will be applied. Press 2.

DTAC: To request for 180 days, 12 baht fee will be applied. Press 3.

DTAC: You have requested: 180 day validity period.

DTAC: To confirm, press 1.

DTAC: To modify, press 2.

DTAC: DTAC service will refill validity and send the SMS confirmation to you within 15 minutes after successfully apply.
