One-Stop Service Center for Visas and Work Permits (MRT Sam Yan)

The One-Stop Service for Visa and Work Permit Center (Thai: ศูนย์บริการวีซ่าและใบอนุญาตทำงาน) previously located at Rasa Tower 2 (near Central Department Store, Lad Phrao) has now moved to Chamchuri Square Office Tower. The new One-Stop Service opened on January 4, 2010. It provides an express service to business users including Thai visas, work permits and 90 day address notifications but not retirement visas.

IMPORTANT UPDATE (March 9, 2010):
The center is now refusing to process 90 notifications for visitors who did not obtain their visa or visa extension at this office. More details here.

Chamchuree Square is located approximately 1.4 KM from Siam Square and less than 1 KM from Silom MRT. It also has direct access to Sam Yan MRT station, making it much more accessible to most visitors than the new Thai Immigration Center at Chaeng Wattana Road.

Getting there

Ideally, take the underground train to Sam Yan MRT Station and then follow the signs to exit number 2. Before reaching ground level, take the escalator into Chamchuri Square which houses a modern shopping mall and many restaurants.

Access to the One Stop Visa and Work Permit Center via MRT Sam Yan Exit 2

Take a three-minute walk through the shopping mall to the Office Tower, Chamchuri Square. The route is well signposted.

Having arrived at the Chamchuri Square Office Tower, take any one of several lifts servicing the Low Zone (G, 11-22). The One-Stop Service for Visa and Work Permit Center is located on the 18th floor.

Thailand immigration has once

Thailand immigration has once again shown the intelligence of a 5 year old with down syndrome.Over a lunch break they decided to not allow anyone that hasn't gotten their visa from this office to report their 90 days. They also turned everyone that had been waiting in line before lunch away and told them to go to chaeng Wattana.Im begging to question if the pros of this country out weigh the cons.

Inevitable really

Yes, it is very disappointing that we can no longer do 90 day reports at this center, but in all honesty I'm not surprised this has happened. It was inevitable that with the closure of the Immigration Office at Suan Phlu, many more people would seek alternatives to Chaeng Wattana and the One Stop Service could not or would not accept this increased volume of customers, especially as they have always been marketed as a premium service for business customers only.

Touist Visa

Hi, does anyone know if they do Tourist Visa Extensions?

Contact the One Stop Visa and Work Permit Center

I'm almost certain that tourist visa extensions are not available, but if you want to confirm this for sure you could phone or email the office. Contact details (phone number and email address) are on this page.

Good luck!

90 days appearance

Hi, i would to like to do my first 90 days appearance in this one stop service . How can i go there? since i am living in the old immigration. I can ride bus 62 then i can go down to Lumpini park then i have to ride a taxi? or i can take a walk? Looking forward to hear some reply. Thanks

Take a taxi

I suggest you just take a taxi from Soi Suan Phlu to Sam Yan. According to my map, the distance from the entrance of Soi Suan Phlu to Sam Yan is about 1km. For that distance, it's probably not worth waiting for a bus and then changing to a taxi.

I visited the one stop

I visited the one stop service center yesterday and can confirm it is infinitely better than going to immigration on chaeng wattana road (which is soooooo far from central bangkok). The service is also much quicker than the old immigration center on soi suan phlu. Seems like they've finally got something right for a change. :-)
