Siam Theater (โรงหนังสยาม) has been gutted by fire in what is believed to be an arson attack by retreating anti-government protesters.

The curfew in Bangkok and 23 provinces has been extended by three days until Saturday May 22, 2010. The curfew time has been changed to 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The curfew was previously set at 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to control looting, arson, and armed conflict between red shirt protesters and security forces. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has reported 34 arson attacks in the capital between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
