An M79 grenade has exploded outside a branch of Bangkok Bank in Talin Chan district in Bangkok. The blast, which damaged a parked car and advertising board of a nearby company, is thought to have been aimed at the bank.

The attack, which took place on Phra Borom Ratchachonnee Road, is said to have taken place at 3.00 AM on Wednesday. There were no reported injuries.
