Rim Khob Fa Bookstore (Thai: ร้านหนังสือริมขอบฟ้า) pronounced ráan năng-sĕu rim kòp fáa, is very easy to find being located next to Democracy Monument on Ratchadamoen Klang Avenue. Half of the store contains books on mostly academic subjects (languages, fine arts, history, etc.), but there is also a selection of travel and general interest books. The other half of the store is set aside for miscellaneous activities.
If I were a 20-something office girl working in Sathorn, I’d probably list Double A Book Tower as one of my top lunchtime destinations, followed closely by the som-tam shop and clothing stalls selling bargain tops for 80 baht a piece, or two for 150 baht.

Book Lounge @ Amarin is operated by the foreign books retailer and distributor, Asia Books. Although it has made claims to be the biggest book outlet in Thailand, this appears to be entirely wrong. Book Lounge @ Amarin is significantly smaller than several other bookstores in Bangkok and quite frankly stocks an inferior selection of often outdated books. It's not clear whether some books on its shelves are new or used, but if you are interested in old copies of women's magazines from the UK at knockdown prices, then this bookstore may be for you.
Dokya (Thai: ร้านหนังสือดอกหญ้า) is a Thai book seller in Thailand. According to Wikipedia, it is one of the largest bookstore chains in Thailand.
