Sai Mai district of Bangkok

Sai Mai (สายไหม) is a district or khet in Bangkok, Thailand. The district name should be pronounced săai măi which means "silk thread". This name should not be confused with săai mài (สายใหม่) which means "new route" or "new line", a name given to the Southern Bus Terminal Station.

Sai Mai District is located in north Bangkok. It is bounded (from the north, clockwise) by the following districts:

Pathum Thani Province:

  • Amphoe Lam Luk Ka

Bangkok districts:

  • Khlong Sam Wa
  • Bang Khen
  • Lak Si
  • Don Mueang
