Samphanthawong District of Bangkok

Samphanthawong (Thai: สัมพันธวงศ์) pronounced săm-pan-tá-wong, is the smallest district or "khet" in Bangkok, Thailand. The district is densely populated and has a large Chinese community. Yaowarat Road (Thai: ถ.เยาวราช) is the main thoroughfare through the district and is lined with small shops and businesses selling everything from fake DVDs and watches through to sex toys and heavy machinery.
