The 37^th National Book Fair and 7^th Bangkok International Book Fair 2009 opened yesterday at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and will run until April 6.

Last year's book fair was a huge event with 421 companies and 870 booths, and an incredible 1.7 million visitors. This year, many publishers continue to offer substantial discounts on books in Thai and English to attract new readers.

Getting there

The Queen Sirikit Convention Center is located in central Bangkok. It is easily reached by taxi or MRT subway.
