Download LEXiTRON 2.6 Bilingual Thai - English dictionary

LEXiTRON ™ (เล็กซิตรอน) is a Thai <-> English dictionary produced by the National Computer and Electronics Center, Thailand (NECTEC). There are two versions of the dictionary (sound / no sound) that you can download and install for free.

LEXiTRON is maintained by Thai staff and its users can suggest new words and definitions. This may explain how some of the more unusual words, spellings and sometimes vulgar slang has worked its way into the dictionary. Nonetheless, for a free dictionary the overall quality is quite reasonable.

Download Thai Typing Tutor 1.04 (Freeware)

Thai Typing Tutor v. 1.04 is freeware. You can download this small program to your computer to practice and improve your Thai typing skills. It contains basic keyboard drills for beginners and more advanced copy typing exercises for intermediate students.

Download Thai <-> English dictionary data files in XML format

From this page you can download Thai to English and English to Thai dictionary data in XML format. The original data comes from NECTEC LEXiTRON 2.0 data files and was converted to XML (Extensible Markup Language) by Bangkok Library. XML is an open standard for creating custom markup languages and sharing data. The converted data files are valid and well-formed XML documents and can be imported into Microsoft Access 2003 where you can build queries and forms to create your own Thai <-> English dictionary program.

Download LEXiTRON v.2.1 beta for Windows

LEXiTRON v.2.1 beta is a very early version of the free Thai <-> English dictionary produced by the National Computer and Electronics Center, Thailand (NECTEC). The software includes a license agreement that is dated 2003.
