Media reports suggest that a powerful signal was broadcast on Sunday to temporarily block transmission of the state-run television channel NBT (สถานี วิทยุโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทย). The channel is controlled by the Government Public Relations Department (กรมประชาสัมพันธ์) and has been accused of lacking independence and merely being a government mouthpiece. The rogue signal interrupted an interview with Abhisit and Army Chief General Anupong Paochinda.
