Chao Phraya River

The Chao Phraya River (Thai: แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา) pronounced mâe náam jâo prá-yaa, is a major river in Thailand and runs through Bangkok eventually flowing into the Gulf of Thailand. In Bangkok it is a major transport route for barges and commuter lines.
