Most towns and cities in Thailand have few buildings of architectural merit or interest, apart from temples if that is your sort of thing. However, Bangkok literally stands out from the others in having a huge number of interesting commercial and residential skyscraper buildings that offer fantastic photo opportunities. Some of the best areas include Sathorn and new developments around Sukhumvit Road. Even outside of these areas, there are many great structures to be found including the locally famous Elephant Tower on Phaholyothin Road, close to the intersection with Ratchadapisek Road.

Times Square Building is an office building and shopping center on Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok. The shopping center mostly attracts office workers and residents from the local area, which is very popular with the expatriate community. It also has at least one language school.
