Asia Books
Asia Books (Thai: เอเซียบุ๊คส์) is an English language bookstore chain with an extensive branch network in popular areas of Bangkok. Most of its branches are small and stock a limited but nevertheless interesting range of fiction and general interest titles in English.
For popular fiction, maps, guides, and phrasebooks (English – Thai and some other languages), Asia Books offers a number of convenient store locations. Asia Books at Siam Discovery has one of the largest branches and possibly the widest selection of books, although it is still unable to compete in sheer volume of titles and languages offered by its nearest competitor, Kinokuniya. Additionally, Asia Books does not stock technical reference books, or books for learning or teaching English as a foreign or second language.

Kinokuniya is a Japanese owned bookstore chain that stocks an impressive range of books in some of the best shopping malls in Bangkok. All branches carry a wide range of books in English and Asian languages, but the best stocked and most attractive store is located at Siam Paragon.
All tastes are catered for. For Thai readers there is a good choice of comic books and graphic novels, hobby books, cookery books, and popular fiction translated into Thai. For foreign visitors, there is an excellent choice of novels and text books that you might find in any US or UK bookstore.

Asia Books at Siam Discovery Center
Siam Discovery Center has one of the largest branches of Asia Books in Bangkok. This branch has a good choice of popular fiction and general reference books in English. It is especially easy to access from the nearby BTS National Stadium. Alternatively, you can take the BTS to Siam Station and then walk through Siam Paragon and Siam Center which connects with Siam Discovery.
