Jeff Savage, the Briton caught on camera and arrested for his involvement in the anti-government red-shirt protests has been freed by the Thai court after pleading guilty. Savage was caught on camera saying that he would "loot" and and "burn (everything) to the ground". A former royal porter from Tonbridge Kent, Savage will be taken to the immigration police and then deported in the next few days.

A Briton involved in violent anti-government protests has been freed by a Thai court after pleading guilty to all charges and will be deported in the next few days.
The court convicted Jeff Savage, 48, of violating an emergency decree imposed during the two-month-long protests which is still in effect in Bangkok and 18 other provinces.
Savage broke down and cried after hearing the verdict.
