I need to defecate

ผมปวดอึ
ผมปวดขี้

In English it's not common to say that you need to defecate, but Thai people appear much more willing to express the need (and reason) to visit the bathroom. Both sentences use the word ปวด which refers to an ache or discomfort.

ผมปวดอึ = I need to defecate (polite)

ผมปวดขี้ = I need to defecate (not polite)
