Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Library

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Library (Thai: ห้องสมุดตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย) was established in 1975 to serve as an information center for anyone interested in finance and the capital markets. In 2004, the library was renovated and renamed to the Maruey Knowledge and Resource Center (Thai: ห้องสมุดมารวย) or MKRC but is still commonly referred to by many people as the SET Library.

Located within the Stock Exchange of Thailand building, the MKRC has a modern look and is set on two floors. The ground floor has many books about investment (mostly in Thai language) and computer workstations with restricted access to the Internet. There are also newspapers in Thai and English including the Bangkok Post, the Nation, and the Financial Times. The upper floor is designated as a quiet study area and has a wider selection of non-fiction books.

Membership

Anyone can visit the library for free. To borrow books and access other services such as inter-library loans, you must be a member. Membership costs just 100 baht plus a refundable deposit. Check the SET library website for more details.

Opening times

Open daily from 8:30 AM until 11:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday) and midnight (Friday and Saturday).
