NECTEC LEXiTRON Dictionary 3.0 available for download soon
March 12, 2009: The NECTEC LEXiTRON website continues to have user registration and login problems. We phoned NECTEC today to report these problems and find out more about LEXiTRON version 3.0 beta. Apparently, LEXiTRON version 3.0 refers to the new look website and not a new version of the windows program. A new version of the Windows program may be released in about 2 - 4 months. Until then, we suggest you continue using the most current version, LEXiTRON 2.6.
There's a notice on the NECTEC LEXiTRON website explaining the site is currently offline pending release of version 3 on February 28. If we can download it and the user agreement allows, we shall provide a mirror service for downloading LEXiTRON 3.0 from the Bangkok Library web server as we did for version 2.6. Hosting the files on our server does use quite a lot of bandwidth but we know it helps those users who have experienced registration and login problems using the NECTEC website.

Long-standing problems with NECTEC website
March 11, 2009: The NECTEC LEXiTRON website is online again but the long-standing problems of user registration and login have not been fixed. We tried registering a new user account but could not login. We then attempted to recover our "lost" password but that also failed. We couldn't find a new version of LEXiTRON dictionary to download but did notice the most recently added word was "aint" [sic]. Overall, very disappointing.

The NECTEC LEXiTRON website
The NECTEC LEXiTRON website is still "offline" but I'll keep checking over the weekend. Hopefully they'll have the download available soon.
The release date on the
The release date on the LEXiTRON website has been updated to 5 March 2009 (5 มีนาคม 2552). Until then, you can still download and install the current version (LEXiTRON 2.6) from our server.
A quick look on the NECTEC
A quick look on the NECTEC LEXiTRON website this morning revealed the release date has been further postponed to 9 March 2009 (9 มีนาคม 2552).
