The Reading Room is moving to Silom
The Reading Room, a small privately-owned library specialising in art and cinema, is moving to a new address on Silom Road. Full details of the temporary closure and new location here:
Dear all,
The Reading Room is moving! We will be closed from July 17th – July 27th and will reopen on Wednesday July 28th. Our new address is 2 Silom Soi 19, Silom Road.
The inaugural event at The Reading Room’s new location on Saturday July 31st, is the screening and panel discussion of “La Commune: Paris 1871” (dir. Peter Watkins, 2000). Panelists include Prinya Thaewanarumitkul, Sirote Klampaiboon, and Piyabutr Saengkanokkul. Screening starts at 11am and panel discussion starts at 5pm.

สวัสดีค่ะ
เนื่องจากห้องสมุด Reading Room จะย้ายไปอยู่ที่ เลขที่ 2 สีลม ซอย 19 ห้องสมุดจึงจะปิดทำการตั้งแต่วันที่ 17 – 27 กรกฎาคม 2553 โดยจะเปิดทำการในที่ใหม่ตั้งแต่ วันพุธที่ 28 กรกฎาคม เป็นต้นไปสำหรับกิจกรรมแรกในวาระเปิดตัวห้องสมุดใหม่นี้ คือ การจัดฉายภาพยนตร์และเสวนา เกี่ยวกับภาพยนตร์เรื่อง La Commune: Paris 1871 (กำกับโดย Peter Watkins) ร่วมเสวนาโดย รศ.ปริญญา เทวานฤมิตรกุล, อ.ศิโรตม์ คล้ามไพบูลย์ และ อ.ปิยบุตร แสงกนกกุล ในวันเสาร์ที่ 31 กรกฎาคมนี้ โดยจะเริ่มฉายภาพยนตร์เวลา 11:00 น. และเริ่มเสวนาเวลา 17:00 น.
