Thung Khru District of Bangkok

Thung Khru (Thai: ทุ่งครุ) should be pronounced tûng-krú, taking care to finish the second part of the name with a short vowel sound. Thung Khru is one of fifty administrative districts in Bangkok and has few if any attractions for foreign visitors.

From the north clockwise, Thung Khru is bounded by the following districts:

  1. Rat Burana
  2. Amphoe Phra Pradaeng (Samut Prakan Province)
  3. Amphoe Phra Samut Chedi (Samut Prakan Province)
  4. Bang Khun Thian
  5. Chom Thong
