White Lotus Press
White Lotus Press publishes new books on Southeast Asia and also reprints rare books and “out-of-print” books, including translations of scholarly works into English. White Lotus Press was established in 1972 and now publishes many superb books on otherwise difficult to find subjects. Many of its books are nicely bound and printed on excellent quality paper, making them a treat to read.

It's also worth noting that books published by White Lotus Press may be found at university libraries, including Thammasat University.
Other bookstores with White Lotus books
Haven't been at Rim Khob Fa yet, the two bookstores in Bangkok where I found a good selection of the White Lotus books are Chulabooks right next to Siam Square, and the gift shop in the National Museum - though operated by River Books it has many other books on art and history as well.

Thanks for that valuable information. The National Museum is on my very long list of places to revisit and when I finally get round to it I'll add an article on Bangkok Library. Actually, I very nearly managed to go there last weekend but was sidetracked visiting King Prajadhipok Museum and Thammasat University Library.
