Thailand Mobile Phone Expo 2010
Thailand Mobile Expo 2010 is running until February 7 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Previous fairs have attracted large numbers of visitors – particularly at the weekends – and this year should be no exception. Most of the "bargains" (advertised in Thai) are strictly limited to the first few customers; nevertheless, the fair is a good place to see all the latest mobile phones, PDA and GPS devices, generally at high street or slightly discounted prices.

When I visited Mobile Expo
When I visited Mobile Expo 2010 earlier today, there were fewer people there than I would have expected to see. I didn’t see anyone buy a phone while I was there, but maybe I was too distracted by the promotion girls or “pretties”. Actually, there weren't many of those, either. The sales staff I spoke to were helpful and the venue good as always, but if I’m honest I think I’ll just go to MBK or Siam Paragon next time.
