BOOK appears to be the name given to a small independent bookstore selling used books in Bangkok. This bookstore is located in a small sub-soi near to the entrance of Sukhumvit Soi 24, less than two minutes' walk from BTS Phrom Phong and the Emporium Shopping Complex. It is also surrounded by massage shops and restaurants catering mostly to Japanese and Korean businessmen and their families living in the vicinity.

This bookstore has a slightly chaotic feel to it and is certainly less ordered than the nearby Dasa Books. The selection of books written in English is fair and the prices are mostly reasonable, but Mr Vichien (Thai: วิเชียร) the owner of BOOKS, says that most of his customers are in fact Japanese businessmen who choose to buy non-fiction titles.

If you are in the area and looking for popular fiction at a budget price, BOOK is worth checking out. It's not the tidiest or best organized bookstore, but that may be part of its appeal.
