Bang Rak district in Bangkok

Bang Rak or Bangrak (Thai: บางรัก) pronounced baang rák, is one of fifty districts in Bangkok, Thailand. The district is bordered by two major roads: Rama 4 Road to the north and Sathorn Road to the south. Other roads that pass through the district include Charoen Krung Road and Silom Road, the latter made infamous by its many go-go bars and high levels of prostitution. To the west of the district runs the Chao Phraya River.
