CU Book (Chulalongkorn University Book Center)

CU Book (Thai: ร้านหนังสือ ศูนย์หนังสือจุฬาฯ) is the short name for Chulalongkorn University Book Center, located behind Siam Square in central Bangkok. We love this bookstore for its otherwise hard-to-find range of textbooks including ESL teaching and language acquisition, electronics, engineering, computer science and a host of other topics. There's also a large selection of Thai language books for native Thai readers.

Message received from an anonymous source today:

Chula has not one but two book centers. One is on the ground floor of the Witthayakit building (building 80 on the map), on Soi Chulalongkorn 64. The second one is in the basement of the Sala Phra Keaw building, in the center of the south-east quadrant of the campus (south of the faculty of science and the faculty of engineering, building 58 on the map). Both have an English section. The second one is closed on Sundays.
