Thammasat University (Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์) pronounced má-hăa wít-tá-yaa lai tam-má-sàat, is a public university in Thailand. Founded by former Prime Minister of Thailand Pridi Banomyong, it is now regarded as one of the most important universities in the country.

Pridi Banomyong Library (Thai: หอสมุดปรีดี พนมยงค์) pronounced hŏr sà-mùt bpree-dee pá-nom yong, is named after Pridi Banomyong, a former Prime Minister of Thailand and founder of Thammasat University. It is the main library of the university, but is open to the public for a small fee of just 20 baht per day.
